The goal of this program is to identify a number of factors that can negatively impact an athlete’s Dynamic Neuromuscular Control. We do this in a variety of ways based off a thorough Kinetic Chain Assessment of the athlete. The dynamic needs and physical demands of the sport are then factored in allowing us to develop a Comprehensive Athlete Specific Action Plan.
APE is affiliated with the Cincinnati Sports Medicine Research and Education Foundation. The Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center is a unique private practice in its commitment to patient care, research, and education of medical professionals. The physicians of the Center strive through research and clinical practice to develop surgical techniques and treatment options that represent the most advanced procedures available in the U.S. through Dr. Frank Noyes’s Sportsmetrics ACL Injury Prevention Program for Female Athletes.
The development of STOP (Sports Trauma and Overuse Prevention) Sports Injuries was initiated by Dr. James Andrews and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) in early 2007. The initiative not only raises awareness and provides education on injury reduction, but also highlights how playing safe and smart can enhance and extend a child's athletic career, improve teamwork, reduce obesity rates and create a lifelong love of exercise and healthy activity.

Since 1999, APE has developed training programs for elite level athletes with the primary objective of taking their performance to a higher level. In addition, we specialize in re-building athletes and members of the general population who have suffered from injuries that have negatively affected their ability to perform at optimal levels.
